Jacob Holtorf
Jacob is a graduate of Wayne State College, and has a degree in Exercise Science. He says, “Health is my passion, and I am excited to make new connections with people in our communities, and help improve the health of our communities in any way possible.” In his free time, Jacob enjoys sports, and fishing.
Jacob was a 2022 summer intern at ECDHD while he finished his B.S. at Wayne State College. During his internship, Jacob worked with ECDHD’s West Nile Virus program. One of his jobs was trapping and sending the collected mosquitos to the State Lab in Lincoln. This experience will come in handy as he has transitioned to a Program Coordinator position, working with programs including West Nile Virus, Building Healthy Families, and Substance Abuse Prevention/Opioids.
