Nebraska has 145,000 Veterans, with a military unit presence in 24 cities and towns across the state. While military Veterans and their families are very much a part of every community, some rural Veterans get lost in the shuffle, especially when transitioning to civilian life. VetSET Nebraska was created to assure that veterans returning to rural Nebraska have the support and resources to successfully reintegrate into their families and communities.
VetSET Nebraska is for Veterans and service members, community providers and families.
VetSET will help connect Veterans and their families to resources in your local community, provide information on activities and support for Veterans, and ensure your voice and needs are heard. Services available to community providers include free training on the unique culture, experience and language of Veterans and their families, assist agencies with serving your Veteran population and help you list your organization on the Nebraska Network of Care.
